Next level niche 

This month's Fratello × REM strap is most definitely not for everyone, but we wanted to design something for the famous Omega Speedmaster X-33. So here it is — a green strap made of organic leather for Omega’s digital Speedmaster that debuted back in 1998. The Speedmaster X-33 is still in production, and last year, Omega even devised a wild upgrade with ESA engineers for (unmanned) Mars missions.

The current tool of choice 

Both NASA and ESA astronauts still use the Omega Speedmaster X-33 aboard their spacecraft and the International Space Station. ESA uses the Skywalker (third generation), while NASA prefers to keep using the second-generation X-33.

Even after all these years, 25 to be precise, the Omega Speedmaster X-33 still feels relevant. It does design-wise, of course, as its case features timeless lyre lugs, but the functionality is still on point too. Aside from the more common functions like time, date, and chronograph, there’s the countdown chronograph that can be useful in certain cases. It also has a mission timer, which the wearer can use to record longer periods of a particular event (up to 365 days). An additional time zone is always useful, as is an alarm, and the X-33 offers both.

Going green 

The green on this strap works incredibly well with the X-33, especially when the display's backlight is activated. The short part of the strap has the contour lines of the International Space Station engraved. The long end of the strap has an engraving of the "33" from the model name.

As always, the strap has a 127mm long end and a 74mm short end. It also comes with the Fratello-signed buckle in brushed steel (to somewhat match the looks of the Grade 2 titanium case). Finally, the green strap has black stitching to match the filled engravings.

How quickly are orders processed?

Where can I find my invoice?

You will automatically receive a copy of your invoice via email after completing your order. If it's been more than 24 hours and you still haven't received your invoice, feel free to email us at shop@fratello.com to make sure your order was successful. Please also check your spam folder in case it has accidentally landed there.

Do you ship internationally?

We offer fully-insured worldwide delivery on all purchases.

Please note that for shop purchases, Fratello is required to declare the retail value of the timepiece or item(s) in the shipment. International shipments may be subject to import fees upon arrival in the destination country; any importation fees or taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Will I have to pay importation fees?

Please note that for all shop purchases, Fratello is required to declare the full retail value of the timepiece or item(s) in the shipment. We are unable to under-declare shipment values.

How is my order shipped?

Your order will be shipped via UPS Express Saver and is fully insured. UPS will try to deliver the shipment on three occasions. After that, the shipment may be returned to us.

Exact shipping times depend on the destination and customs. You can track you parcel using the tracking link provided to you.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Orders placed Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. CET to 5:00 P.M. CET may be edited or canceled within 1 hour of order placement (where possible) by emailing shop@fratello.com. Please note that changes or cancellations are not guaranteed. Those orders that are shipped before a cancellation has been confirmed, must be returned by the guidelines featured in our return policy.

What about pre-orders?

Should you change your mind after placing your order, Fratello will honor any cancellations and offer a full refund when the request is made before the pre-order window closes. Once the pre-order window is closed, all orders are final, and we are unable to cancel your order and offer a refund. All pre-ordered watches are bespoke and made-to-order, so the regular 14-day return window does not apply.
