The Frederique Constant Classic Moonphase Manufacture Fratello Exclusive is produced in a limited run of 29 pieces and is available exclusively in the Fratello Shop. Taking in the night skies

RJ has long been a fan of our night skies and the moon. When discussing the Frederique Constant Classic Moonphase Manufacture, he said "A moonphase was one of the first complications that I ever saw on a wristwatch. I was just a kid and our neighbour showed us his new watch, with a moon phase on the dial. It was like magic to me. Only much later, I understood the complexity of a moonphase display on a (mechanical) watch."

The watch

The grey anthracite dial of this Frederique Constant Classic Moonphase Manufacture combined with the blue moon phase disc, looks as peaceful as the real moon does during a starry night. Frederique Constant is able to offer a watch with this beautiful complication using an in-house developed and in-house assembled movement, for a very fair price.

The 42mm 3-part case holds a domed sapphire crystal and a display case back, revealing the inner workings of the FC-712 caliber. The two sub-dials of the moonphase and date are located at three and nine o’clock respectively. The elegant, curved dial merges seamlessly with the case and features printed roman numeral indexes and hand-polished hands. Finally, the blue crocodile-leather strap completes the look.

The FC-712 movement

The Frederique Constant Classic Moonphase Manufacture Fratello Exclusive is powered by the in-house developed calibre FC-712 automatic movement with 38 hours of power reserve. Based on the iconic FC-700 movement series from Frederique Constant, it has been redesigned in order to split the moonphase and date into two counters. Both functions are adjustable via the crown. Through the transparent caseback, the movement shows off the famous Perlage and circular Côtes de Genève decorations present on all Frederique Constant in-house calibers.

How is my order shipped?

Your order will be shipped via UPS Express Saver and is fully insured. UPS will try to deliver the shipment on three occasions. After that, the shipment may be returned to us.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Orders placed Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. CET to 5:00 P.M. CET may be edited or canceled within 1 hour of order placement (where possible) by emailing shop@fratello.com. Please note that changes or cancellations are not guaranteed. Those orders that are shipped before a cancellation has been confirmed, must be returned by the guidelines featured in our return policy.

What about pre-orders?

Should you change your mind after placing your order, Fratello will honor any cancellations and offer a full refund when the request is made before the pre-order window closes. Once the pre-order window is closed, all orders are final, and we are unable to cancel your order and offer a refund. All pre-ordered watches are bespoke and made-to-order, so the regular 14-day return window does not apply.
